Can foundations be good for the skin?

The quest for the perfect foundation… It's a journey that many of us have been on, but not all of us have completed!

Are you still struggling to find the perfect shade? Maybe you’ve nailed the colour but not the coverage? The good news is your search stops here.

Everyone knows PÜR formulates products that improve your skin’s appearance over time – and that goes for our foundations, too.

Mineral makeup holds the key. It’s free from skin-clogging artificial ingredients so it can improve your overall complexion, minimising dark spots and evening out skin tone.

Take our 4-in-1 Pressed Mineral Makeup Foundation with Skincare Ingredients. This lightweight, no-fuss foundation combines mineral water from the Swiss Alps, botanical extracts, Vitamin B3 and SPF 15 – the benefits of which keep working long after the makeup comes off.

And the best part? It’s a foundation, concealer, powder and SPF all in one, so no need for lots of layers – just a flawless finish in seconds.

Sounds great, right? So, how do you find the perfect shade of mineral foundation for you? The answer lies in deciphering your undertone. Here’s how…

3 steps to determine your undertone

  1. Look at the veins. If they appear green or olive in colour, you’ve got a golden undertone. If they look purple or blue, then your undertone is pink.
  1. Notice how your skin reacts to the sun. People with golden undertones tan easily but those with pink undertones tend to burn.
  1. Take the jewellery test. Golden tones will look great against gold while pink undertones look perfect with silver or white. If both gold and silver look good, it means your undertone is neutral.
